Recorded at The Ottobar in Baltimore MD on June 17th, 2008. Also on the bill but not included in the recording were The Traumas and Firewater.
This was Landspeedrecord's first show in 2008 and also the first show with Ron Spencer on guitar since he left the band in 2000. Also the first time Behind the Barricade Doors was played out live.

Some random thoughts to think about while listening:
Why is it that "retroactive" is a word, yet there is no word for the opposite concept... "retroactive-starting-in-the-future" or for lack of a better term... "NEOACTIVE"?
The supposed antonym "Proactive" doesn't really do the job because it implies a latent hope or belief that the action being performed in the present will actually affect the future. "Retroactive" is devoid of a causal connection into the past - the act of pronouncing something to take effect retroactively has no causal connection to the actual event or time in the past that is being referred to. It only refers to processes (legal, financial, computational, etc) that are occuring in the present and that refer to the past. Kapeesh?
So there needs to be a new word that captures the same lack of causal connection, but going forward in time.
A word for:
"I am doing this NOW so that I feel or seem like I am affecting things in the future - even though there is no causal connection and it won't change the future one iota but it will change processes occuring in the present."
For example, when politicians make promises they usually do it neoactively; they affect the present (their re-election) but not the future (the legislation they won't create, or vote in favor of). Normally, for lack of a better term, we just saying they are lying, but when they do it retroactively we call it "spin".
How can a musician affect the listener neoactively with their music? By lying?
No!
By selling their mp3s! As in: "All Landspeedrecord! songs are on sale neoactively for 1 dollar a peice". This makes us feel better and it doesn't cost you anything!
